Nature Republic MD Water Collection
Written @ 11:54 PM,Saturday, March 20, 2010
Looking at the pictures below, i'm so darn shocked at how bad my eye bags look. So a quick post and i'll head to bed!

Everyone's familiar with Skinfood, The Face Shop and Etude House. Another Korean cosmetic and skincare store to take note of is Nature Republic. The shop front isn't as fanciful as Etude House's so sometimes it's easy to just walk past without taking notice. In fact, when i came across the store at 313, i thought it looked boring and uninviting lol.

So far i've only gotten one product from Nature Republic though.
I bought the powder mask - MD Water Collection Brightening Jade Powder (and to be used with 401 MD Water Collection for Functional Effect). Sounds complicated i know... MD stands for Medicinal. And it's their medicinal blend of purified water collected from renowned sources that makes it so special.

Check out the chart about MD water here!

So i just tried out the Powder Mask, which is for brightening and to even out the skin tone.

You can tell from the 'Before' and 'After' pictures. Nope, i did not Photoshop anything, everything is taken under the same lighting! (urgh terrible eye bags!)

Firstly, you have to pour in the powder into the container that's filled with MD water. It's not exactly fuss free... some of the powder spilled out into the sink instead of the container lol.
Messy! But i guess all powder masks are like that?

Next you shake it up a bit, and apply the mask onto your face. I didn't have a brush for it, so i used my fingers to apply gently. After which leave on for about 15mins, and when the mask hardens, wash off with warm water :) You'll see that your face has brightened up instantly!
Also, i like the cooling effect it had on my face. It felt very refreshing and my face was so smoooootttthhhhh!

In fact, you can actually separate the powder and liquid into 2 portions, but you'll need to keep them separately in a container or something, so that you can have enough for 2 usages (since it costs $3.80 for a both powder and MD water, not exactly very cheap for a one time thing).
There was quite a bit of mask, so i used the left overs on my neck to prevent wastage :)

Check out Nature Republic's website here for more products!
You can find their outlets at Junction 8 and Somerset 313 :)
